My teacher's office is closed for the day and I just need some help figuring out the best way to do this problem.

 

Solve the following exponential equation by expressing each side as a power of the same base and then equating exponents.

 

25^x+1 = 625^x-1

 

I'm looking for the solution set.

(5²)^x+1 = (5⁴)^x-1

5^2x+2 = 5^4x-1

2x + 2 = 4x - 1
