Why we needeed domain and range

Find the range and domain of f(x)=√x+1/x+2

Take greater care when giving us the function.  Parentheses are required to make it clear what is the scope of the square root taking.  You must write a denominator as (x+2), for example, if both of those are in the denominator (as seems likely).

 

As it is now, we'd have to guess what your function is.
