 At the bottom the give a set up that reads "number of regular pop plus number of diet pop equals total number of bottles". But I do not know how to put the set up with the numbers together

r + d = 12 -------> r = 12- d

r + 1.5d = 15 -------> r = 15 - 1.5d

 

Hey, r is equal to two different things, so they are equal to each other!

 

12 - d = 15 - 1.5d

.5d = 3

d = 6

 

r = 12 - 6 = 6
