Hi Shana,
If all four sides are 12 Ft, multiply the side length by 4 for the square feet of space. However you may need cubic feet, which means you will need to multiply again by the number of feet deep the box is. If the box is less that a foot deep use a fraction such as #/12 or if over a foot 1 #/12.
