You meant "sphere" rather than "spear". You meant "diameter" rather than "denominator".
Volume of sphere = (4/3)πr3
Volume of cylinder = πr2h
where:
r = radius
h = height
Set the volumes equal to each other.
(4/3)πr3 = πr2h
Note that the diameter is twice the radius. If they have the same diameter, then they have the same radius.
(4/3)πr3 / πr2 = h
(4/3)r = h
(4/3)(d/2) = h
(2/3)d = h
(2/3)(18) = h
12 = h
The height of the cylinder is 12 cm.
