I assume you mean

 

f(x) = 3x³ + 5

 

To be even, f(-x) must equal f(x).  To be odd, f(-x) must equal -f(x).

 

f(-x) = -3x³ + 5 ≠ f(x), and ≠ -f(x)

 

It is neither.
