Use this formula:

 

% change = 100 * [(final amount) - (initial amount)] / (initial amount)

 

Initial amount = 275

Final amount = 300

 

% change =  100 * (300 - 275) / 275 = 9.09%

 

Since it came out positive, it is a percent increase.
