Find the slope of the the line

Find the slope of the line containing the following (b,h)^2 and (b+h,(b+h)^2)

I am guessing that there is a typo.  Is the first point (b, b²)?

 

If so, then slope = [(b+h)² - b²]/[(b+h) - b]

 

                        = [b² + 2bh + h² - b²]/h

 

                        = (2bh + h²)/h  = h(2b + h)/h  = 2b + h
