Is there more popcorn or peanuts in the mixture

 A snack mix is made from peanuts that cost three dollars per pound and caramel popcorn it cost to 20 per pound the cost of the mixture is 250 per pound does it contain more popcorn or more peanuts

Neither without retail markup. The most expensive the mixture could be would be $20 if it were pure popcorn and the cheapest the mixture could be would be $3 if it were pure peanuts.

So the cost of the mixture, per pound, should be between 3 <= x <= 20. 250 is not anywhere near this range.
