Math, hourly rate

julio is paid 1.1 times his normal hourly rate for each hour he works over 29 hours in a week. Last week he worked 43 hours and earned $506.16.

Enter and solve and equation to find julios normal hourly rate, r.

the earnings equation is $506.16 =

julios hourly rate is $        Per hour

this is reasonable because working 43 hours at a rate of $11 per hour is 43 * 11=43(10+1)=430+43=      , and $    Is close to $506.16
