i have doubt about math rule

for example
(120x+22)/3=(300x+25)/6
(120x+22)/3*6/(300x+25)
(120x+22)*2/(300x+25)
(240x+44)/(300x+25)
now (300x+25)this term goes other side
(240x+44)=(300x+25)
44-25=300x-240x
     19 =x
my doubt is when we sent any number or variable it change its sign. So why we didt change (300x+25) this term sign
please my concept about this

The change of sign is not a rule. This is also not about changing sides. It is about the operation - addition (considering subtraction is addition of negative terms) and multiplication (considering division is multiplication by reciprocal).

WRONG. CHANGING THE SIGN OF A TERM WHEN IT MOVES TO THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF AN EQUATION IS RULE, which I PROVED.

So maybe it's a new rule, to you. Once upon a time, the Pythagorean Theorem was a new concept, but it was proved (hundreds of times) and now it's a rule.  Or a technique, if you prefer.

Once upon a time, in 1950s (and before), this was a rule stated in math books in U.S.A.  Nowadays, of course, we've got calculus students showing +1 beneath each side of an equation in order to remove a -1 from the left side of an equation and get it to the opposite side as +1 !!
