Recall that the perimeter of a rectangle is found by adding the length of all four sides.
P=L+L+W+W
P=2*(L+W)
Since we know the length is 8 feet 6 inches, and the width is 4 feet 7 inches, we can plug these values into the equation.
P=2*(8ft 6in+4ft 7in)
P=2*(13ft 1in)
P=26ft 2 in
