Step 1) Determine how many bananas that are not rotten.  Subtract 103 from the total number of bananas.

 

Number of good bananas = 1490825 - 103 = 1490722

 

Step 2) Since we want to put the good bananas into 529 baskets divide the number of good bananas by 529.  The parts the number of good bananas into 529 equal parts.

 

1490722/529 = 2818.

 

The number of bananas in each basket is 2818.
