Hi Hussian,

When I wrote >= this means greater than or equal to.  Why did I choose greater than or equal to for the equation x + y >= 4.  The statement "the baker wants to make four cakes and more means to me that he can make 4 cakes, or 5 cakes or 6 cakes and so on. If I use > I am stating that he does not want to make 4 cakes.  I used <= to mean less than or equal to.  Why did I choose less than or equal to for the other two equations?  We know that the maximum amount of flour he has is 2000 grams and for sugar is 1200 grams.  When making the cakes the baker can use up all the flour and sugar that he has or some amount less than that but he cannot go above these amounts.  This is the best I explain it.  Hope it helps.
