I'm going to assume this means x/5 - 2/3 = 2. It can be understood another way.
There's no common denominator less than 3 × 5.
3x/15 - 10/15 = 2
(3x - 10) / 15 = 2
3x - 10 = 30
3x = 40
x = 40/3
Now, if you really mean
1/(5x) - 2/3 = 2
Then the common denominator is 15x.
(3 - 10x) / 15x = 2
3 - 10x = 30x
3 = 40x
3/40 = x
Those two answers are way different. Better check to see whether I interpreted your problem the way you wanted. Cheers!
