Let width of a rectangle be w cm

     length of a rectangle= 6w

 

Perimeter of a rectangle= 2(length + width)

                      70         = 2( 6w+w)

 

     70 = 14w

w= 70/14=5 cm

length=6w= 30cm

Area of rectangle= length * width = 30* 5= 150 sq cm
