How do I find the area of a rectangle with the verticies shown:

 

A(-3,4) B(5,4) C(5,-1) D(-3,-1)

One side (L) is the distance between the x-coordinates of points A & B or B & C.  The other side (W) is the distance between the y-coordinates of points A&C, or B & D. 

 

Area = L*W
