Geometry- there is a hexagon that isn't shaded and has 6 triangles around the sides that are shaded. Each side is the length of 6, i have to find the total area of the shaded triangles please help.

The area of a triangle is 1/2bh

If each side of the triangle is 6, you have an equilateral triangle with all sides equal. The area is 1/2 (6)(6) or 18

If there are 6 triangles the total is 6 x 18 or 108
