The distance around would be the circumference; C = pi•d or = 2•pi•r  where r = radius & d = 2r = diameter.

Using the pi value on my calculator, I got 94.24777961 ft, and you can round it as you see fit.

The distance around the bottom of the swimming pool is the circumference of the circle with a radius of 15 feet.  The radius of a circle is 2 times pi times the radius.  Let's say that pi is approximately 3.14 and the radius is 15, so the answer is 2 times 3.14 times 15 or 30 times 3.14 or 94.2 feet.
