Hi Chris,
The equation provided,
H = 6.785 + 1.033 C, where H is highway mpg and C is city mpg, is in the slope intercept form, i.e. y=mx+b.
From here, it is fairly simple to determine the slope of the line as it is the coefficient of the city mpg.
The slope is 1.033
