find domain of g(x)=log_5(6x+4)

The domain must be either greater than or less than x. Not sure how to set this up correctly.

g(x) = log₅(6x+4)

 

We can only find logarithms of positive numbers, so 6x+4 must be positive.

 

6x+4 > 0

 

    6x > -4

 

     x > -2/3

 

Domain = (-2/3, ∞)
