What would the table for the tax function look like?

In the town of Taxo, each household payes taxes on its annual household income as determined by the following:
  • A household with income between $0 and $20,000 payes no tax.
  • For each $1 of income beyond $20,000, and up to $50,000, the household must pay $0.20 in tax.
  • For each $1 of income beyond $50,000, and up to $1000,000, the household must pay $0.40 in tax.
  • For each $1 of income beyond $100,000 the household must pay $0.60 in tax.
This situation gives rise to a tax function in which the input is annual household income and the output is the taxes paid.
