For each of these questions you want to use the Z score formula in order to solve for the missing value.

Z = (x – mean) / (standard deviation)

So for each part of this we’re using mean = 10 and standard deviation = 1.78 then plugging in in order to solve. for part (a) when Z = 1.56 that would mean doing

1.56 = (x – 10)/1.78

x = 1.56*1.78 + 10

x = $12.78

you could use a similar process then to solve for the remaining two parts! only the Z score that you are solving for would change :)
