Increasing and decreasing functions

Question

f(x)=x(9-x² ) for -3≤x≤3
***Please note that I could not find something for a radical, so (9-x² ) is inside a radical

I need to graph this equation, and then write where the function is increasing and where it is decreasing. Any help is greatly appreciated, especially help graphing the equation. Thanks!

You will be able to clearly identify the information requested.

 

To manually graph the function, set up a table for various "x" and "y" values.  Select various "x" over the interval -3≤x≤3 and calculate the corresponding "y" values.  Plot those various ordered pairs over the given interval.
