Y changes by -4.8 times the change in x.

 

For a. 

Δx = 6.5-4 = 2.5

so Δy = -4.8(2.5) = -12

 

for b.

Δx = -2.8-3.3 = -6.1
so Δy = -4.8(-6.1) = 29.28
