Probability? Yeah, please help me!

Question

The Por Mano Tile Company imports handmade tiles from Mexico. “Saltillo” tiles make up 67% of their imports and the rest are “talavera” tiles. Based on past experience, they expect 3.7% of the Saltillo tiles arrive broken and 5.4% of the talavera tiles to be broken.

 

These are the questions I have to answer, they give me formulas, but they make no sense at all!!!!!
a. Make a complete probability tree for this situation.
b. Find the probability that a tile is a talavera tile and is broken.
c. Find the probability that a tile is not broken.
d. Find the probability that a Saltillo tile is broken.
e. Find the probability that a talavera tile is not broken.

 Let  A = the event that the tile is a Talavera and B = the event that the Talavera tile is broken

 

P(A and B) = P(A)*P(B given A)

 

                =(33%/100)*(5.4%/100)

 

                = 0.01782 or 1.78%

 

(c) Probability that a tile is not broken is the sum of the  probability that a tile is Saltillo and not broken and the tile is Talavera and not broken

 

P(tile is not broken) = (67%)(96.3%)+(33%)(94.6%)

 

                             = 0.6452 + 0.3122 

 

                             = 0.9574 or 95.74%

(d) and (e) follows in a similar way
