Greetings! Lets solve this shall we ?
So, we must find out what the quotient would be if we divide 2x3-3x2-18x-8 by (x-4). We can also use Synthetic Division such that
4 |--------------------------------------------------
2 -3 -18 -8
↓ 8 20 8
-------------------------------------------
2 5 2 0
Which translates to E. 2x2+5x+2
I hope this helped!
