Selecting me gives you the best advantage in today's schools!
This requires setting up a coordinate system for the objects movement.
In doing this I realized that the object moved four units to the left of its original position and five units higher than its original poisiton along the 127 degree angle. The force is in the same direction as the objects movement.
The work is the force multipled by the distance the force moves the object along the direction of the force.
The distance the object has been moved can be found from the constructed right traingle with sides 4 and 5
the hypotenuse is that distance and is given as h^2= 4^2 + 5^2 = 41
the distance is 6.403 and I am going to say feet
then the work is 45 lb * 6.403 ft = 288 foot pounds
