This is what I would do...
I would convert the integer and fraction, 2 1/2, into a fraction...
We multiply the integer and denominator (divisor), then add the numerator; (2x2)+1=5.
The denominator, divisor, is 2, and remains unchanged.
5/2
(3/7)(5/2)
Now, we are going to multiply these numerators and the denominators..
(3)(5)/(7)(2)
