I will assume all the question marks represent x.
(1 / x) + (1 / x) = 3 / 11
Next, we use the lowest common denominator (LCD) so that both sides of the equation have the same denominator. The LCD is 11x.
(11 + 11) / 11x = (3x) / 11x
Not just equate numerators, since the denominators are already the same, and solve for x from there.
