Helping to make math easy (and engineering too!)
y=sqrt(x2-x+0.25)
x2-x+0.25 can be factored into
(x-0.5)(x-0.5)
what is a square root? Something that is multiplied by itself so
y=sqrt((x-0.5)*(x-0.5))
y=x-0.5
and you should be able to graph

y = √(x-0.5)2 = l x-0.5 l
So, the graph of y = √(x2-x+0.25) is the same as the graph of y = l x-0.5 l.

Yes exactly. Now I do get it. But can you tell me what can I do in cases when I can't be factored, that means I can't remember the sqrt.

Sorry I mean sqrt can't be removed
