Car mpg and passanhers

Question

A car gets 30 mpg on the highway with one passenger in addition to the driver. With the additional passengers, the driver loses mpg. How many gallons of gas would the car use to travel 25 miles on the highway with 3 passengers and the driver.

This is not enough information to solve the problem. We must know how much the mileage decreases for each additional passenger. For example, they may have given you the mileage with just the driver. In that case we could attribute the decrease to the one passenger and multiply by the number of passengers in the problem.
