The 6 flags are randomly selected and hoisted. What is the probability that the red is at the top, followed by the white, and then the blue flag?

That red would be first selected is 1/6.

I assume white will immediately follow.  So it is 1/5.

I assume blue will immediately follow after that.  So it is 1/4.

 

(1/6)(1/5)(1/4)=1/120
