Hi Jeffery, If you want to find out how many hours in a year, this is the calculation:
Multiply the number of hours in a day by the number of days in a year. Simple enough, until you come to a "Leap" year, which has one more day than a regular year.
Number of hours in a day, 24.
Multiply 24 by 365 gives 8760 hours in a regular year.
For a leap year, add 24 more hours giving, 8784 hours in a leap year.
Does this help?
