Since H=2.5A+30 is a linear function with variable "A" as the independent variable, and "H" as the depended variable, therefore you can apply the "slope-intercept form" equation:
y=mx+b where
y is depended variable
x is independent variable
m is the slope (the coefficient of the independet variable)
b is the y-interecept ( where the graph of the function intercepts the y-axis, or in other words when x=0)
therefore m in H=2.5A+30 equals 2.5, or the slope is equal to 2.5
The final answer maybe in fraction form so slope = 2.5 = 25/10=5/2 (the rise over run when graphing the function)
