y=x-x^2 at the point (-1,0)
but
0 doesn't = -1-(-1)^2 = -1-1=-2
so the problem was miscopied, as (-1,0) is not on the parabola, the problem
might have read the point (1,0) which is on the parabola
y' = 1-2x = slope of the parabola
slope at (1,0) = 1-1 = 0
normal at that point has the negative inverse slope which is undefined.
(1,0) is the vertex and the normal through that point does not intersect the parabola a 2nd time
the normal line at that point has an equation
x=1
the problem needs either a different point or a different parabola
to make sense, to have 2 intersections of the normal line with the parabola
