As far as nature is concerned, wood and timber is obtained by cutting down trees. So the wood/timber industry will be destroying the environment to obtain their materials.
As far as society is concerned, there are some people who care about the environment and want to preserve it.
As far as the economy is concerned, companies and stores who make and sell wood/timber based products will gain huge profits. You can also see more jobs in the construction and carpentry sector.
As far as politics is concerned, there will be laws explaining how much of wood/timber these industries can obtain and how they should be handled. All sorts of natural materials have health impacts such as chemical exposure and asbestos. For wood, when it is cut down and processed in the industry's warehouse, wood dust accumulates and can cause major health problems when too much is inhaled. That is why industries handling raw materials and chemicals must wear protective clothing.
