Insanely Hard Question

Find the equation of a logarithmic function y = ± loga (x + b) + c going
through (−2, 2) and (0, −2)

Lincoln B.

Hello Abhay,

I don't believe the question is answerable with only two points. Is there perhaps more information to the problem?

For a system of three variables (a, b, and c), three equations are needed. Only two are given.

we know the value of c because c =-2 because of the y intercept
