To find the x-intercept (where the line hits the x axis) set y = 0 and solve for x
To find the y-intercept (where the line hits the y axis) set x = 0 and solve for y

The x intercept is found by solving:  0 = (-3/4)x + 3
solve for x and your point will be (x,0)

The y intercept is contained in the slope intercept form y = mx + b
where the y intercept is (0,b) = (0,3)
