The time in seconds it takes 20 individual sewing machines to stich a border onto a particular garment is listed below.

67 69 64 71 73
58 71 64 62 67
62 57 67 60 65
60 63 72 56 64
 
Calculate the mean stitching time and the standard deviation to the nearest hundredth of a second.

Hey, looks like you need a few more sewing times, I only see 14 times listed (and the last one is probably cut off since 6 seconds is drastically lower than the other times).

Mean=(Using the 20 numbers above when added)=(1292/20)=64.60 =Mean
 
A shortcut to calculate the Standard Deviation is  =(Range/4)
 
Range is the (LARGEST Number  - SMALLEST Number)
 
Range=(73-56)=17
 
Standard Deviation=()17/4)=4.25
 
        I hope this is  what you are looking for
 
P.S.   Please check your numbers...
