What force is necessary to increase the velocity of a 50kg ball from 5m/s to 15m/s

Answer needs to be in newtons

I think you'll need to have a time value before you can solve this. I could exert a large force over a small period of time to increase the ball's velocity or I could exert a small force over a long period of time to do the same thing.
 
It could be that you're looking for energy instead of force, but then the answer wouldn't be in Newtons.
