The standard form of a quadratic equation is in y=ax2+ bx + c form, where a, b, and c are coefficients.
The value of a is a whole number.
y = (1/2)x2 + 10x - 10
In standard form, the x0 term, or constant term, is isolated on the right side of the equation. Subtract (1/2)x2 and subtract 10 on both sides of equation.
-(1/2)x2 - 10x + y = -10
Multiply both sides of equation by -2.
x2 + 20x - 2y = 20
I hope this help.
