Let B = weight of 1 block

Let C = weight of 1 car 

 

Car is equal to 1 and a half blocks  ==>  C = (3/2)*B 

 

Weight of pyramid = 2,300,000*B

Half weight of pyramid = 1,150,000*B

 

Let N = number of cars 

 

Want N*C = 1,150,000*B

N*(3/2)*B = 1,150,000*B

N = (2/3)*1,150,000 = 766,666.7 cars or 766,667 to the nearest whole car 

 

Check:  766,667*C = 766,667*(3/2)*B = 1,150,000.5*B ~ half weight of pyramid
