(30+3x)/4 = 80

30+3x = 320

3x = 290

if 30 is weighted 1/8, Final Exam 7/8 then

(30 +7x)/8 = 80

30+7x = 640

7x = 640-30= 610

x = about 87

if 30 is 1/10, Final Exam 9/10 then

(30+9x)/10 = 80

800 = 30+9x

9x = 770

x = 85 5/9

a mere 86 could then get you at least an 80 Final Grade
