perpendicular through 7y=x-4
rewrite that as y = x/7 -4/7 means slope = 1/7= the coefficient of the x term
the perpendicular would then have a negative inverse slope =-1/(1/7) = -7
through the point (-2,2) would be a line with equation slope=slope:
-7 = (y-2)/(x+2) = change in y over change in x
or
y-2 = -7x -14
y = -7x -12 in slope intercept form
