-6x - 2y = 0
-2y = 6x
y = -3x
y = -3x -2
Two equations with same slope and different intercepts are of parallel line.
No common solution.

-6x-2y=0
-3x -y = 0
y = -3x
y = -3x -2
-3x = -3x-2
0=-2, an impossibility
no solution DNE
solve by substitution, elimination, matrix algebra or graphing
a good graphing calculator will give you the intersection point
on line like desmos or a handheld calculator like TI83 or 84
if the graph is 2 parallel lines there is no intersection point, no solution
no real solution. no imaginary solution, no complex solution
but there are 2 surreal solutions, +/- infinity
but the answer you want is DNE, Does Not Exist
no real values exists for x and y that would make 0=-2 to make both equations true
