y=-x+2

In this problem, they are just asking to solve the quadratic equation. I have to give an exact answer and it cannot be rounded, so I'm a little bit stumped.

x^2+3x-5=0

-x + 2 = x² + 5x + 7

Set equation equal to zero and solve with Zero Product Rule

x² + 3x + 5 = 0

Solve using Quadratic Formula, only way to get exact (irrational) roots.
