two young graduates opened a chain of print shops. The chain expanded rapidly during the early 1990's and many new store were opened . The number of print shops in operation during any year from 1990 1nd 2005 is given by equation y=-2.5x there is a two on top of x +27.5x+71 where x is the number of years since 1990 how many print shops were there in 1995?

for x = 5

 

y = -2.5(5)² +27.5(5) + 71

y = -2.5(25) + 137.5 + 71

y = -62.5 + 137.5 + 71

y = 146
