A triangle has an angle of 0.61 radians. If the opposite is 13 meters, find the length of the hypotenuse.

Let x = length of hypotenuse

 

Then sin(0.61) = 13/x

 

So, xsin(0.61) = 13

 

                   x = 13/sin(0.61) ≈ 22.7
