as a certified handwriting specialist, it is well known by Research that early handwriting is directly related to reading, comprehension and language development. All of these outcomes are supported with this School Readiness curriculum. The HWT School Readiness curriculum is developmentally based and requires no additional knowledge to be successful. The curriculum is engaging and teaches 7 readiness skill areas which include: Readiness, Drawing, Alphabet Knowledge, colors and coloring, Pre-writing, counting and numbers and writing Capital and lowercase letters. This is a professional curriculum that is supported by the NAEYC. (The National Association for the Education of Young Children). This curriculum involves fun multisensory learning activities that are age appropriate and will give your young learners the academic edge going into kindergarten or first grade.
